Brookide Cottages Planned Development
The Brookside Planned Overlay District (BPOD) was added to the Perry Township Zoning Resolution via Zoning Amendment # 154-RZ-21 in 2021. The BPOD district regulations are section 448 of the Perry Township Zoning Resolution. The Brookside Cottages Development was approved via Zoning Amendment # 157-RZ-22 in early 2022. Both the Zoning Amendment text excerpt and the approved development are available below.

Water and sewer services will be provided to the development through the City of Columbus and Franklin County. The Sanitary Plan is available below:
Construction work commenced in the summer of 2025.
- Construction activities are prohibited prior to 7:00 AM or after 9:00 PM. (Zoning Resolution § 525.02, Page 105)
- The operation of power equipment, including the use of power mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, tillers, or other similar devices is prohibited outside the hours of 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. (LHR No. 141-13 - Noise Control Regulations)
- The developer is responsible for the repair of any damage caused to Township roads during construction. Additionally, the developer and contractor(s) are responsible for monitoring construction traffic from the site and providing the necessary street cleaning practices to keep the construction traffic route free and clear of debris from construction activities on site.
