A Message from Chief Petrozzi

Perry Township continues to be recognized as one of the safest communities in Franklin County, due in no small part to the efforts of the Perry Township Police Department. Our dedicated officers cover more than 175,000 miles per year, thoroughly patrolling every street numerous times each day in an effort to ensure the safety of our neighborhoods. Each year, the Police Department also responds to over 3,000 requests for service and performs thousands of courtesy "vacation house/business checks" for our residents and businesses. We strive to provide the highest quality of law enforcement services to our community with an emphasis on integrity, fairness, and professionalism.

We pledge to maintain the highest level of respect for each individual's rights and human dignity through equal treatment of all persons without prejudice or bias.

We are an active and integral part of Perry Township's schools, civic associations and neighborhood groups, providing outreach programs and sponsoring events such as the annual Independence Day Celebration. Through positive police and citizen collaborations, we can achieve safe schools, sound neighborhoods, and a secure community of which we can all be proud.

Best Regards,

Chief John Petrozzi
