2025 SRTS Sidewalk Construction Projects
The Franklin County Engineer's Office (FCEO) has provided us with an updated schedule for the Safe Routes to School project in Brookside. The project is scheduled to resume next Monday, October 27, and follow these steps:
- Week 1: Storm sewer installation
- Week 2: Sidewalk grading, preparation, and forming
- Week 3: Pouring of sidewalk and curb ramps, and replacement of driveways
- Week 4: Restoring, including grading, topsoil, seeding, and mulching.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather, labor, material, equipment, or other unforeseen construction issues.
On street parking will be limited in the area of the projects during construction. The Road Department will meet with Strawser prior to the start of construction to develop a plan to ensure that residents in the construction areas will continue to have driveway access throughout the duration of the project.
Construction schedules, delays, and other information will be available on the Township website. Please contact Road Superintendent Ian Warren at iwarren@perrytwp.org or 614-889-8781 with any questions or concerns.
The detailed plans for the projects at Brookside Elementary and Worthington Hills Elementary are available below:
