Construction Updates

Posted on: August 28, 2025

[ARCHIVED] 8/28/25 - Road Improvements & SRTS Projects Update

Worthington Hills residents, Decker Construction plans to return in mid-September to continue the Road Improvements Project. They have two other projects in Franklin county to complete first - one in Jefferson Township and one in Prairie Township - before resuming work on Candlewood Dr. The dates and times on the no-parking signs will be updated as we get closer to construction restarting.

The one-way traffic pattern on Candlewood Dr will remain in place until the project is completed. We would like to avoid any confusion or disruption that could result from temporarily removing the traffic pattern only to reinstate it shortly after. The Road Improvements Project steps and traffic pattern are all available on the website: https://www.perrytwp.org/2361/2025-Perry-Township-Road-Improvements

Additionally, the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) project by both Worthington Hills Elementary and Brookside Elementary will begin around the second week of September. Please note that the SRTS project is separate from the Road Improvements Project. The SRTS project plans are available on the Township website: https://www.perrytwp.org/2327/2025-SRTS-Sidewalk-Construction-Projects

Updates will be sent to residents once we know the exact dates of construction. If you have any questions about either project, please contact Road Superintendent Ian Warren: iwarren@perrytwp.org or 614-889-8781.
