[ARCHIVED] LEAF COLLECTION--FINAL ROUND THRU THE TOWNSHIP

IMG_4362-2

Tuesday, December 3, on the FINAL ROUND of leaf collection in the township, the Road crew will be starting on the north side of Oakview at Hickory Ridge (#41 on route) and continue thru Worthington Hills and then onto other areas of the township, including Brookside. Once they pass your home, they will not be returning.

Streets Finished--no more leaf pickup by Perry Township

--East side of Clubview North to Oakview

--Highview Dr

--Blindbrook Dr

--Blindbrook Ct

--Hickory Ridge

Please DO NOT put sticks, twigs, plants or vines in your leaf pile--these items clog/break the leaf machine--leaves with these things mixed in will not be picked up.

After this last pickup, residents may set bagged leaves next to their trash totes  or put the leaves in the trash tote for pickup on the scheduled trash collection day.

PLEASE PLACE LEAVES AT THE EDGE OF YOUR YARD, NOT THE GUTTER!!!  Leaves in the gutter cannot be picked up when they are wet and/or it is raining. Leaves placed in the gutter get extra wet and cannot be sucked into the machine. Leaves in the gutter also cause ponding on the road, which can be a very dangerous condition for drivers.
