[ARCHIVED] BRUSH CHIPPING STARTS MONDAY APRIL 19th

Brush 5 (2)

Monday April 19 through Thursday April 29 the Road department will be making rounds thru the township picking up and chipping tree trimmings and brush piles. For the safety of our road crew, there are rules to follow concerning what is picked up...

  1. The LONGER the branch the BETTER!!! All trimmings fewer than 4 feet in length must be BUNDLED or put into CONTAINERS for pickup. Branches fewer than 4 feet in length not bundled or in containers, WILL NOT be picked up.
  2. Small twigs and sticks are a SAFETY HAZARD to the road crew. As a safety precaution we ask that branches fewer than 4 feet in length be bundled or put into containers such as trash cans or yard waste bags.
  3. All trimmings should be piled in a organized manner, with cut ends facing in the same direction, next to the curb or at the end of the driveway. Township employees will not come on private property to trimmings.
