Worthington Hills residents, the Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel (OCC) informed the Board of Trustees that Aqua Ohio has filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) to increase its rates for water service. Aqua Ohio has requested a monthly rate increase of 17.5% (a dollar increase of $11.94) for water service. The Board passed resolution 048-26 opposing the proposed rate increase and requesting that PUCO deny Aqua's request.
PUCO will host two in-person and one digital public hearing for public comment:
