Perry Township E-Broadcast - COVID-19 Community Update & Resources
The Perry Township Board of Trustees would like to take an opportunity to update our residents regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. We are in ongoing contact with the Franklin County Public Health Department regarding the preparation and response efforts locally. This is a fluid situation; however, as of March 14 there are 26 confirmed cases in the state, one 49-year old male in Franklin County (located in the City of Columbus).
Franklin County Public Health officials continue to advise that if you or a family member are ill, please remain at home until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours. Further, if you are concerned that you may have symptoms of or have been exposed to COVID-19, you need to contact your healthcare provider, preferably by phone, for next steps and to determine whether testing is needed.
As a reminder to everyone, we must be vigilant in protecting from the spread of COVID-19. We also must take care to speak accurately and appropriately. This is a quickly evolving situation; and, one that requires all of us to use good judgment and common sense. We recognize there’s been a great deal of social media dialog regarding potential exposure in our community. However, we encourage you to utilize the websites below which provide the best resource of accurate and up-to-date information to community members:

Thank you
