[ARCHIVED] LEAF COLLECTION--WHERE ARE THEY NOW???

IMG_4362-2

On Friday November 22nd, the Road Crew will be begin leaf collection on Skyline Dr/Snouffer Rd ( 1# on route) then on to Brookside Estates starting at McVey to Merwin.  The Road department has collected 152 loads of leaves so far this fall.

The Road crew hopes to complete the route through Worthington Hills this week, then move on to Brookside next week. They will do one final round of the entire township after Thanksgiving.

PLEASE PLACE LEAVES AT THE EDGE OF YOUR YARD, NOT THE GUTTER!!!  Leaves in the gutter cannot be picked up when they are wet and/or it is raining. Leaves placed in the gutter get extra wet and cannot be sucked into the machine. Leaves in the gutter also cause ponding on the road, which can be a very dangerous condition for drivers.

The Road department is out every weekday collecting leaves in the township (weather & leaf quantity permitting).

Remember to rake the leaves to the EDGE of the yard-NOT into the street!

Leaf collection will end December 2nd    Questions call 614-889-2669    Follow the Road department on Instagram (perry_township.road) and Twitter (Perry_township.road)
