[ARCHIVED] Storm Clean Up by the Road Department

Perry Township Storm Clean Up!

The Perry Township Road Department has scheduled a special Brush Chipping clean up for residents impacted by the recent storm. The Road crew will make only one (1) stop to collect fallen tree limbs and small branches. Pick up will begin Monday, June 15, 2020.

What can I put out for collection?
1) Tree limbs and trimmings only! Brush, vines, or other debris will be NOT be collected.
2) Limbs must be at least 4 feet in length for the safety of our crew.
3) Limbs cannot be more than 8 inches in diameter.
Small limbs and branches are a Safety Hazard!

Note: All trimmings less than 4 feet in length must be BUNDLED, put into yard waste bags or containers for RUMPKE’s scheduled waste collection day. The brush chipper cannot accept roots of any kind.


Keep Piles Organized!
1) All trimmings should be piled in a organized manner, with cut ends facing in the same direction, next to the curb or at the end of the driveway. (Township employees will not come on private property to collect trimmings.)
2) Trimmings should not be piled near parked cars. Trimmings deemed too close to parked cars will not be picked up.

Tree & Yard Services
1) Residents with excessive amounts of trimmings should make other arrangements.
2) If you are using a yard or tree service, please be sure to have the company remove trees, limbs and debris from your property.
