Governor Mike DeWine announced that the Ohio Department of Health will issue an order that will mandate wearing of face coverings in public in all counties in the State of Ohio. The order goes into effect at 6 pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2020.Governor DeWine said people will need to wear a mask when they are in any indoor location that is not a residence, and when they are outdoors and unable to consistently maintain a distance of six feet or more from individuals who are not members of their household. Additionally, face coverings are required for the following: when waiting for, riding, driving, or operating public transportation, a taxi, a private car service, or a ride-sharing vehicle. This order does not apply to children under the age of 10, or anyone who cannot safely wear a face covering,
