ZONING BOARDS
The Zoning Commission is a 5 member board appointed by the Township Trustees for a term of 4 years. Their purpose is to review and propose amendments to the Zoning Text or Zoning Map. All such amendments are filed by application and set for public hearings. The Zoning Commission meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month as needed. Click here for contact list. The BZA is also a 5 member board with 2 alternates appointed by the Township Trustees for a term of 4 years. One of their duties is to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in the enforcement of the Zoning Resolution. They also hear and decide Variance request to the Zoning Resolution and can authorize a Conditional Use by terms of the resolution. The BZA meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month as needed.
